Fóssil do animal mais antigo?

http://www.livescience.com/63289-ediacaran-leaf-fossil-is-animal.html
Citando:
"If true, these organisms would be among the first animals in the fossil record, dating back to at least 571 million years ago — the age of the oldest frond fossils. That's about 30 million years before the Cambrian explosion, when many of today's animal groups first burst onto the scene. The date is consistent with other evidence that suggests animals appeared more than 635 million years ago.

The mysterious frond fossils, which have been found around the world, date to the Ediacaran period, which spanned from 635 million to 542 million years ago. The fossilized imprints suggest that the organisms were soft and squishy and that some sported fronds that branched outward like seaweed, study co-author Jennifer Hoyal Cuthill, a paleobiologist at the University of Cambridge in England, wrote on The Conversation. Even 60 years after the discovery of these organisms, researchers (...)"

Salamandra e a recuperação dos tecidos

Citando:

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/feb/14/foie-gras-and-badger-culling-would-be-banned-under-labour-proposals

Citando:
"Foie gras and badger culling would be banned under new animal welfare measures proposed by the Labour party, in a move described by activists as “the beginning of the end of cruel factory farming”.

The practice of force-feeding geese and ducks in order to fatten up their livers is widely considered cruel and inhumane, leading Labour to advocate an end to imports of the delicacy in a new policy document released on Wednesday.

Labour is also proposing further curbs on hunting with dogs, mandatory CCTV in abattoirs, and a ban on the export of live animals for slaughter, under a new animal welfare bill."

Animais, pessoas e sentido de justiça

Até alguns animais têm sentido de justiça. O que me faz pensar no comentário Maurinho: Porque é que algumas pessoas não o têm?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4253254/Animals-know-treated-unfairly.html

Citação:
"Humans beings appear to be hardwired to have a sense of fairness.

This is puzzling from an evolutionary perspective, which you would have thought would mean we were predisposed to seek advantage for ourselves and our families wherever possible.

But in fact a sense of fairness is important for humans to be able to help each other.

Human cooperation is based on reciprocal altruism – we help people because they've either helped us in the past or they may help us in the future.

This form of cooperation is only possible when individuals are able to keep track of other individuals' efforts and payoffs – and a sense of fairness helps with this."
